02 A BRIEF HISTORY OF ZINES
I made a 6 page zine about zines themselves - covering their history and the power they hold in storytelling in political and social commentary.
The content of the zine presents a historical timeline, and explores their significance during the Harlem Renaissance.

I began my design process by sketching initial ideas on paper, considering the visual compositions, along with potential topics of information for the audience to explore.
Zines are great tools for sharing information tailored to individual interests. They're a cost-effective way to spread ideas and stories. If you're interested, you can download and print my zine to explore it further! The zine's dimensions are 11" x 17", otherwise known as tabloid-sized paper.
